Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for over a decade. Alexandra is famous for her the roles she played as a character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. At the age of 16, she had already secured a number of TV roles for instance, the lead in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall the role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also critically acclaimed. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra was involved in a variety of important international and national projects throughout her career. A few of them include the British biographical film Control, Greek drama film The Dust of Time, as well as the French historical miniseries Napoleon. In addition, she has been an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as in The Cannes Film Festival.
